What Did Putin and Modi Discuss?
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have agreed to consider the restoration of direct passenger and freight transport.
The two leaders also expressed support for increasing bilateral trade to 30 billion dollars by 2025.
Putin welcomed Modi’s commitment to the process, noting that India could become a partner in the development of Russia's Far East.
Additionally, Putin and Modi called for close cooperation on Afghanistan and the establishment of a consultative mechanism between the security councils of the two countries.
