Ishkhan Saghatelyan on Local Government Elections

Member of the "Hayastan" faction Ishkhan Saghatelyan's statement: "As a result of the local government elections held on December 5, the Civil Contract party may have mayors in 15 out of 36 consolidated communities (Vagharshapat, Artashat, Metsamor, Armavir, Baghramyan, Ashtarak, Martuni, Spitak, Tsaghkadzor, Hrazdan, Ashotzk, Jermuk, Garni, Kho, Pambak). In the other 21 communities (Masis, Aparan, Gavar, Vardenis, Vanadzor, Nairi, Nor Aghjank, Abovyan, Amasia, Akhuryan, Yeghegnadzor, Vayk, Noyemberyan, Parakar, Vedi, Ararat, Araks, Tumanian, Sevan, Talin, Artik), opposition and non-governmental forces can form local authority either individually or by forming coalitions.

It is noteworthy that the two opposition forces in the Akhuryan community have already issued a statement about jointly forming the local government.
