Local Self-Government Elections Today in 36 Communities Across 7 Provinces of Armenia
Local self-government elections are being held today in 36 communities across 7 provinces of Armenia.
This morning at 8:00 AM, all polling stations designated for the elections opened in accordance with the procedures established by the Electoral Code of Armenia.
Specifically, elections are taking place in the communities of Ashtarak and Talin in the Aragatsotn province, in the cities of Masis, Artashat, Ararat, and Vedi in the Ararat province, in the communities of Araks, Vagharshapat, Parakar, Khoy, Metsamor, Armavir, and Baghramyan in the Armavir province, in the cities of Gavar, Sevan, Martuni, and Vardenis in the Gegharkunik province, in the cities of Vanadzor, Spitak, Tumanyan, and Pambak in the Lori province, in the communities of Abovyan, Garni, Tsaghkadzor, Hrazdan, Nairi, and Nor Hajn in the Kotayk province, in the communities of Artik, Amasia, Ashotsk, and Akhuryan in the Shirak province, in the cities of Yegh-egnadzor, Jermuk, and Vayk in the Vayots Dzor province, and in the Noyemberyan community in the Tavush province.
The number of participants in the voting will be published today, starting at 12:00 PM, in three-hour intervals according to the communities.
