It Is Revealed on What Grounds the Mayor of Ayntap Has Been Detained

As we reported today, a short while ago, the acting mayor of Ayntap, his brother, and two other individuals have been detained by the Masis police department.

In response to a question from MediaHub.am, the police stated: ‘According to Article 149.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, the four individuals from Ayntap have been detained on suspicion of using violence or threatening to use violence in or near the polling station.’

It is noteworthy that Ayntap community leader Karen Sargsyan is the candidate nominated by the ‘Davit Hambardsumyan’ alliance for the consolidated community of Masis.
