Which Roads Are Closed or Impassable: Reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.
The road from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to Lake Kari is closed. The road from Zovuni village to the Koreyan gorge is temporarily closed in both directions due to the risk of landslides. The Spitak twists are impassable for heavy vehicles.
On the Vanadzor-Dilijan highway, in the area known as the Stepanavan twists of the Vanadzor-Tashir highway, and on the Artik-Alagyaz road in Shirak region, there are patches of black ice. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.
As for Lars, according to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the crisis management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia in Russia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open.
