The Hague Court to Announce Decision on 'Armenia vs Azerbaijan' Case on December 7

Representative of Armenia at the ECHR, Yeghishe Kirakosyan is dispatched to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (The Hague). This decision was signed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“Guided by part 5 of Article 7 of the Law on the Structure and Activities of the Government, 1. In order to ensure the representation of the Republic of Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights regarding the publication of decisions on urgent measures submitted by the Republic of Armenia against the Republic of Azerbaijan based on the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, Yeghishe Kirakosyan is sent to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (The Hague) from December 6-8, 2021. 2. The expenses of Yeghishe Kirakosyan's mission to the Kingdom of the Netherlands (The Hague) (airfare, accommodation, daily allowance), as well as the costs for 'COVID-19' PCR tests shall be covered by the funds allocated in the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for the expenses of the Prime Minister's Staff for official trips abroad. 3. Yeghishe Kirakosyan, representative of the Republic of Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights, is required to submit a report to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia on the results of the mission within three days after returning from the Kingdom of the Netherlands,” the decision states.

On December 7, the International Court of Justice will announce its decision regarding a series of urgent measures submitted by Armenia against Azerbaijan for violations of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination.
