Minister Romanos Petrosyan Has Implemented Administrative Resource to Coerce Participation in Rally: 'Factinfo'
'Factinfo' reports: 'The 'Romanosyan clan' of the Pashinyan government is attempting to ensure public participation in the pre-election rally of the ruling candidate for the community mayor in Abovyan through the utilization of administrative resources. As is already known, the authorities have nominated Pavel Tsugunyan, whose fabricated biography has been discussed in the media. His candidacy has been promoted by the Minister of Environment, Romanos Petrosyan, who was also the former governor of Kotayk province. He has taken on the responsibility for organizing the elections in Abovyan.
Today in Abovyan, Tsugunyan's pre-election rally is scheduled, and to secure citizen participation, the authorities have activated their levers. 'Factinfo' has received reports that employees of the Ministry of Environment have been compelled to attend Tsugunyan's rally. Participants are being transported by buses and cars from neighboring regions such as Byureghavan and Garni. Those who do not comply with the directive have been threatened with dismissal, and a specific location has even been designated for attendance tracking.
This means that this government resolves any issue through coercion and threats. 'You will come; you will work, and you will receive a salary and bonuses as charity; if you do not come, write an application, and you will be dismissed.' The mandatory vaccination against the 'KP virus' also serves as pretext for these elections, with the primary target being employees of the state system.'
