Rockfall in Vayotz Dzor Region: Road Closed in Both Directions

On December 2, at 13:42, the Vayotz Dzor regional crisis management center received information about a rockfall on the Getap-Yeghegnadzor highway, resulting in the road being closed in both directions.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations has been dispatched to the scene. It has been determined that the rockfall occurred approximately 3 km from the Yeghegnadzor-Getap highway (about 4.5 cubic meters).

The rescuers have cordoned off the area; relevant work will be carried out by the municipal government.
