I Am Not Afraid of Any Criticism: Alen Simonian on Expensive Car
“This is not Alen Simonian's personal car; it is part of state property. I am obliged to explain this to people,” said the head of the National Assembly Alen Simonian during a live broadcast on ‘Arajayin Lratvakan’ referring to media reports about the acquisition of an expensive car.
It should be noted that the government has allowed the National Assembly to purchase a new official car for its president, valued at 200,000 USD.
“I asked the Prime Minister to purchase a vehicle using funds saved by the National Assembly; this is a state car. I am not afraid of any criticism; there will be changes in the National Assembly,” Simonian stated.
