Avanesyan on Vaccination Process in Armenia

40% of the population in Armenia has received the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. 23.9% of the population has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. Anahit Avanesyan, the Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, stated this during a government meeting.

The minister noted that the current situation regarding the reduction of morbidity has improved. At this moment, there are 12,465 active cases, among which 1,068 are vaccinated citizens, accounting for 8.6%.

“Out of 2,349 hospitalized citizens, only 87 are vaccinated. This also demonstrates the effectiveness of vaccinations,” the minister pointed out.
