Attempt by Ukrainian Agents to Gather Data on Strategic Objects Foiled in Russia
In three regions of Russia, a foiled attempt by Ukrainian special services to conduct reconnaissance and diversionary activities has been reported. This was announced by RIA Novosti, citing the country's Federal Security Service.
According to the information received, three agents of Ukraine's special services have been arrested. Two of them are a father and son who were collecting data on strategic objects, along with a young individual who was planning a terrorist act.
The arrested Ukrainian agents have confessed to their crimes. The Ukrainian saboteurs planned to blow up the Black Sea Fleet's radio center, a television tower in Crimea, and a mobile gas turbine power plant, as stated in the report. One of the detainees had intended to detonate two homemade bombs containing 1.5 kg of TNT.
