Another Operation Planned by the Authorities: 'Hraparak'

'Hraparak' newspaper reports: The tandem of Nikol Pashinyan and Arayik Harutyunyan continues to shift the blame for the defeat in the 44-day war onto the military. They have devised yet another operation. Recently, pro-government blogger Roman Baghdasaryan, who was closely standing next to Arayik Harutyunyan in a photo released by the ruling party's headquarters on June 20, made a sensational statement concerning the military leadership. He accused the Armenian officers and generals from Artsakh of killing 200 individuals in Mataghis.

Yesterday, we learned that the Artsakh Prosecutor's Office has accepted this as a report of a criminal offense and has handed over the video of blogger Roman Baghdasaryan to the National Security Service of Artsakh for further investigation. It is not ruled out that the blogger's claims may be denied if the NSS does not find grounds to initiate criminal proceedings; however, the statement is likely to leave the impression among the public that it is not the political leadership that bears responsibility for the defeat, but rather the military leadership.
