Andranik Kocharyan: I Sent a Message to Seyran Ohanyan Urging Him to Discipline His Wife
The Chairman of the National Assembly's Defense Committee, Andranik Kocharyan, addressed the recent comments made by Seyran Ohanyan's wife, Rouzanna Khachatryan, regarding him on his Facebook page. He stated that he has sent a message to her husband, urging him to discipline his wife and reprimand her for such behavior.
"Following my previous statements regarding corruption in the army and efforts to eliminate it, as well as numerous instances I have cited (including the private house that has been under construction in the Vahakni neighborhood for years) and discussions that took place in the media about these examples, Seyran Ohanyan's wife has been continuously exhibiting inexplicable activity. After her post yesterday, rumors circulated in the media suggesting that I had anonymously responded to her via one of the news outlets. In this regard, I want to emphasize that the contentless posts from that lady are beyond my area of interest and will remain unanswered," Kocharyan wrote.
It is worth mentioning that Rouzanna Khachatryan had previously addressed Andranik Kocharyan, stating: "Let me say something to the Chairman of the Permanent Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly, Andranik Kocharyan. The public, and especially I, are 'in awe' of your fantastic capabilities in combating corruption, and you may be compared to the French fantastic writer Yves Gandon. Others, especially prosecutors, judges, legal experts, and lawyers, believe that your statements against my family in the context of combating corruption are more poetic and subtly reminiscent of the genius German poet Goethe."
Auroranews attempted to contact both Andranik Kocharyan and Seyran Ohanyan regarding this post. Kocharyan requested that our questions be directed to MP Arthur Hovhannisyan, who confirmed that such a post had existed.
We were unable to ascertain the nature of the message sent to Seyran Ohanyan.
