We Cannot Fine the Speaker of the Parliament or the Prime Minister for Not Wearing a Mask: Asoyan
We cannot fine the Speaker of the Parliament or the Prime Minister for not wearing a mask. This was stated by Arthur Asoyan, the head of the office coordinating the work of inspection bodies within the Prime Minister's staff, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly.
Referring to the decision that will come into effect on January 1, which stipulates that entry into food, entertainment, and cultural venues will be possible only for those who are vaccinated or have a negative PCR test result, Asoyan mentioned that regulations are still in the development phase. However, he provided an example to the journalists.
“Regarding the mask requirement, the police or the inspection body does not enter a business every day to check. It is under the responsibility of the business owner. This will probably operate with the same logic. That is, the business entity will check a person's QR code and allow entry,” said Asoyan, adding that in any case, they primarily rely on the common sense of citizens and the honesty of business owners.
