Larsi Road Closed

The Border Police of Georgia has decided to close the Larsi section of the road for heavy vehicles due to adverse weather conditions. Due to snowfall and the risk of avalanches in Georgia, the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for vehicles with trailers and semi-trailers. This information is provided by the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.

It is noted that traffic for other types of vehicles remains unrestricted. Snow removal operations are being conducted.

The Larsi road is the only land route that connects Georgia, Armenia, and Russia.
