In Armenia, There is a Clear Understanding of Which US Senators are Problematic, and There is No Work Being Done with Them – Sargsyan

In recent days, I have been observing the serious struggle that Armenian lobbyists are undertaking in Washington to revive Resolution 907. This was stated by international affairs expert Suren Sargsyan on his Facebook page, adding, “As you know, this resolution prohibits the provision of American assistance to Azerbaijan. The worst part is that Armenian lobbyists are fighting against the lobbying efforts of the Turkish-Azerbaijani tandem and their embassies, as well as millions of dollars, without any support from the Armenian government and embassy.

It is regrettable that, in Armenia, there is a well-established understanding of which states and which senators are problematic for us, yet no work is being done with them. Overall, this struggle is crucial for the security of Armenia, and the absence of involvement from the Armenian authorities and embassy is troubling.”
