Erdogan to Hold Talks with Putin, Says Cavusoglu

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to hold telephone talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 3. This information was reported by Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu during a meeting of NATO foreign ministers.

The NATO foreign ministers' summit is taking place in Riga from November 30 to December 1. Turkey is in favor of de-escalating the situation in Ukraine. We are in contact with both sides (Russia and Ukraine),” Çavuşoğlu said during a conversation with reporters. He also added that he had previously held talks with the foreign ministers of Russia and Ukraine.
