David, Who Died on November 16, Awarded Posthumously

President Armen Sarkissian signed a new decree on November 26, stating: "Based on the Prime Minister's proposal, in accordance with Article 136 of the Constitution, as well as Article 5.3, parts 1 and 9 of the law on 'State Awards and Honorable Titles of the Republic of Armenia', for the bravery and selfless dedication shown while defending the borders of the Motherland, Private David Helberti Amiryan, a contracted serviceman of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia N military unit, is awarded the Combat Service Medal posthumously."

It is noteworthy that David Amiryan was among the Armenian casualties in the battles that unfolded on November 16.
