Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers to Meet Tomorrow
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will hold yet another meeting tomorrow in Sweden as part of the OSCE Ministerial Conference, announced Luke Devine, a representative of the European Union's foreign policy service in the European Parliament today.
He also reminded that both the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan are invited to participate in the Eastern Partnership Summit on December 15.
Devine noted that EU Council President Charles Michel will meet with the leaders of both countries. “The situation remains tense. After the clashes along internationally recognized borders in mid-November, it is important to emphasize that serious incidents at the internationally recognized borders, rather than in Nagorno-Karabakh, are concerning. I want to emphasize very clearly from our side that the European Commission is extremely committed to doing everything to make sustainable peace possible for the benefit of all countries in the Caucasus,” stated Devine.
