Significant Drop in Temperatures Expected in Northern Armenia, Precipitation Forecasted
In the territory of the Republic, from the afternoon of November 30 to the night of December 1, and from December 3 to 5, dry weather is predicted. On the afternoon of December 1, significant precipitation is expected in various regions, while on the night of the 2nd, isolated locations may also see rainfall, primarily in the form of snow in mountainous and foothill areas.
According to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, winds will be southeastern at a speed of 2-5 m/s. On November 30 and December 1, wind gusts of 20-25 m/s are expected in some regions.
Temperatures are anticipated to decrease by 10-12 degrees in northern regions during the day on December 1, while in the Ararat Valley, temperatures will increase by 8-10 degrees. On December 2 and 3, particularly during the night, a drop of 7-10 degrees is expected.
In Yerevan, rain is anticipated during the day on December 1, with the possibility of thunderstorms and increased wind speeds of 18-20 m/s. Dry weather is forecasted from December 2 to 5.
