20 Bodies Discovered at Listvyazhnaya Mine

“20 more bodies have been discovered in the mine, comprising 18 miners and 2 rescuers. The gas situation at this moment does not allow us to bring them to the surface,” reports Sergei Tsivilev, the governor of the Kemerovo region, through his official Telegram channel.

It is worth remembering that an emergency occurred on the morning of November 25 at the Listvyazhnaya mine located in the Belovsky urban district of Kemerovo region. A total of 51 people were killed in the tragedy, including five rescuers. Authorities in Kuzbass have indicated that a methane explosion may be the likely cause of the accident.
