We Must Not Allow Foreign Interference in the Region: Iranian President

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has described collective cooperation among regional countries as the only means to prevent foreign interference. According to the Tasnim News Agency, the Iranian president made this statement during a meeting with Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Ashgabat on Sunday, during the 15th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

He emphasized the significant opportunities for regional cooperation, stating, "In the current global situation, cooperation among regional countries can turn many dangers into opportunities, as active presence of regional countries leaves no room for foreign interference."

The Iranian president expressed readiness to develop relations with Uzbekistan in various sectors, including transportation, energy industry, and counter-terrorism.
