Azerbaijani 'Crows' Believe Israel, Britain, and Pakistan Can Replace Their Big Brother

There is concern on Azerbaijani social networks regarding the situation in Turkey. They are worried that if the economic crisis in Turkey escalates into a political crisis, they may temporarily find themselves without their Turkish 'big brother.' Political scientist Stepan Danielyan wrote this on his Facebook page.

He particularly noted: 'However, the Azerbaijani 'crows' on social media believe that Israel, Britain, and Pakistan can replace their big brother. The syndrome of needing a patron to solve their issues is also prevalent in Azerbaijan, and it would be good if they create a myth of some sort of 'Treaty of Sevres' to live by.

I cannot give an opinion on Pakistan, but for Israel and Britain, Azerbaijan is only interesting as usable material, and in the case of having such 'friends,' there is no need for enemies. It is clear that Azerbaijan needs them as a tool to engage in conflicts with its neighbors and to resolve problems that pertain to them, not Azerbaijan.'
