The Main Stage of Operations is the Goreyk-Sisian Section of the Border: Abrahamyan

The member of the National Assembly's 'I Have Honor' faction, Tigran Abrahamyan, wrote on his Facebook page: 'The Prosecutor General's Office announced yesterday that in connection with the criminal case initiated regarding the loss of a position and the capture of servicemen on November 16, the acting commander of a battalion has been arrested. It is noteworthy that this commander was responsible for the Jeramuk sector of the front line. Moreover, it is reported that there are 11 captured individuals and 2 casualties in that direction.

This is in a context where, during the days of Azerbaijani aggression, there was an impression that the main stage of operations was the Goreyk-Sisian section of the border, while the Jeramuk direction was only a tense situation with intermittent gunfire. Currently, two directions of Azerbaijani infiltration are practically emerging—those captured and positions that have come under enemy control. If in the Jeramuk sector there were 11 captured and 2 casualties recorded during those days, then in the Goreyk-Sisian section of the border, we come to 4 casualties and 21 captured, considering the official numbers presented earlier.

The recent aggression by Azerbaijan was not merely aggression against the Armenian side; aside from the lost positions and cases of capture reaching 30, it was an unreturned examination for our state, where the ruling power continues to fail under the status of a 'poor student' while still convincing the public that their vote led them into this process and therefore their 'unsatisfactory assessments' are acceptable to the majority of the citizens of Armenia.'
