Azerbaijani Provocation Neutralized in Thessaloniki
The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Greece expresses its gratitude to all organizations and individuals who contributed to neutralizing the Azerbaijani provocation in Thessaloniki two days ago. The embassy is also informed that a similar propaganda provocation has been incited by the same forces at one of the bus stops in the same city on November 25, and all necessary measures are being taken to remove it immediately.
“The RA Embassy condemns the cheap and unproductive propaganda provocations of Azerbaijani organizations in Greece,” the embassy reports.
It is recalled that days ago, a poster depicting the historically Armenian fortress of Shushi, seized by Azerbaijan, was affixed to public transport in the city of Thessaloniki. The Azerbaijanis had replaced the Armenian name “Shushi” with the Azerbaijani equivalent, provoking outrage among the Armenian community.
