Defense Ministry Refutes Reports of Additional Casualties Following Yesterday's Incident
Yesterday, another incident occurred on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, resulting in a fatality on the Armenian side. Various reports circulated in the media suggesting that there were additional injuries apart from the loss of life.
In an interview with Auroranews, the Defense Ministry did not confirm the rumors regarding additional casualties beyond the one fatality.
It is recalled that on November 22, at approximately 18:10, the armed forces of Azerbaijan opened fire using various calibers of firearms directed at Armenian positions located near the village of Norabak in the Gegharkunik region. As a result, a conscript soldier of the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Private Suren Yuriki Safaryan (born in 2002), sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
