Accident on Ashtarak-Yerevan Road Claims Driver's Life

On November 26, at 11:48 AM, the Aragatsotn regional crisis management center received information about an accident on the Ashtarak-Yerevan highway. There is at least one injured person.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that a HOVO brand vehicle, driven by M.H. (born in 1962), veered off the road and collided with an embankment. The driver died at the scene.

Rescue teams cut off the vehicle's power supply, conducted washing operations on the roadway, and extracted the driver’s body from the cabin using specialized equipment, subsequently transferring it to an ambulance.
