Major Fire in Vanadzor: 3 People Hospitalized at Vanadzor Medical Center

Today, on November 25, a major fire broke out in the Lori region. At approximately 03:40, the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue service received an alert at the 911 crisis management center that a homemade shack was on fire near number 7 on Uhsanakan Street in Vanadzor.

The firefighters first prevented the spread of the flames, then isolated the blaze. A homemade shack belonging to 84-year-old Norik Mkrtchyan was completely burned down, along with some attached structures.

From the scene of the fire, Norik Mkrtchyan, along with Alla and Zelma Abramitsyn, were hospitalized at the Vanadzor Medical Center.
