Mysterious Incident in Yerevan: Body of 81-Year-Old Man Found in Chair with Gunshot Wound to the Head

Today, on November 26, a mysterious incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 13:40, the police department of Shengavit received a call stating that the emergency medical team of Yerevan had been dispatched to one of the homes on Bagratuni Street, where a man's body with a gunshot wound to the head was discovered in the yard.

As reported by shamshyan.com, the operational group of the Shengavit police department and the investigative group of the Yerevan investigative department of the Armenian Investigative Committee arrived at the scene. Police and investigators found the body of Bagrat S., an 81-year-old resident of the house, sitting in a chair near the gate. A hunting rifle was found in his hand, which, according to preliminary information, he used to commit suicide by shooting himself in the head. In his right hand, a long stick was discovered, with which he likely pressed the trigger of the rifle.

Materials are being prepared regarding this fact in the Shengavit investigative department.
