A New Service Car Will Be Purchased for Alen Simonian. Cost: 90 Million Drams

During today's government meeting, a decision was made to allow the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia to acquire a passenger car, a BMW 750Li xDrive LCI, through a single-source procurement process. The vehicle will be acquired for the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian.

"The staff of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia is currently in the process of transferring the service vehicle (BMW 750Li, manufactured in 2011) used by the Speaker of the National Assembly to the State Property Management Committee, as the current technical maintenance of the specified vehicle has become costly and the allocation of financial resources for its operation and maintenance is no longer effective or appropriate," the draft decision states.

It is also noted that the acquisition of the BMW 750Li xDrive will be carried out using budgetary savings from the National Assembly. A total of 90 million drams will be allocated for the purchase of Alen Simonian's new car.
