Four Children Hospitalized with Gastrointestinal Infection Symptoms from Tatev Educational Complex
Four children from the Tatev Educational Complex have been hospitalized with symptoms characteristic of a gastrointestinal infection. This information was reported by the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
As of November 24 at 11:00 AM, two of the children are receiving treatment at the National Center for Infectious Diseases, while the other two are at the Muratsan Hospital Complex. Their condition is assessed as mild to moderate. No new cases have been reported, according to the center.
Additionally, the center informed that during the period from November 18 to 22, three patients who were hospitalized from public food establishments with symptoms of gastrointestinal infection are continuing their treatment, and their condition is also assessed as mild to moderate. No new cases have been recorded.
It is worth noting that the children at the Tatev Educational Complex consumed “Caesar” and “Vinaigrette” salads, along with chicken and lavash dishes on November 23. On the same day, a case of food poisoning was reported at one of the restaurants in Yerevan, allegedly due to poultry. This information was communicated by Burgery Angus & more food point. Due to inspections, this restaurant is temporarily closed.
