Attempted Armed Attack on Educational Institution Prevented in Russia

The FSB of Russia has detained a teenager who was preparing an armed attack on an educational institution, allegedly encouraged by a citizen of Ukraine to commit the crime. This was reported to TASS by the Center for Public Relations of the FSB on Tuesday.

“The Kazan Federal Security Service has thwarted an armed attack on an educational institution. As a result of the measures taken, a minor citizen of the Russian Federation who participated in the preparation of this crime was detained,” the FSB stated.

“A user of the Telegram messenger, named Osyuk Yaroslav, who resides in Ukraine, was convincing him to commit mass murder,” the report added.
