Video: The State Offers Employment Programs for War Participants

Former servicemen who have sustained injuries and recognized with disabilities due to military operations can benefit from financial assistance provided to employers who hire them. The support amounts to a maximum of 100,000 AMD for the income tax calculated from their salaries, disbursed quarterly for a maximum period of one year. Additionally, in cases where job accommodation is necessary, a one-time compensation of up to 500,000 AMD is available.

This information was shared in a Facebook post by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.

In collaboration with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry, more than 100 beneficiaries who participated in military operations will have the opportunity to undergo professional training in JavaScript programming to gain education and tools necessary for future employment.

Alongside Soft Contract LLC, professional training, work experience, and job placement will be organized for at least 100 beneficiaries who participated in the military operations of 2020. To cover expenses before starting their permanent jobs, beneficiaries will receive at least 80,000 AMD each month.

With the Information Technology Center of Gyumri, professional training and requalification will be provided for at least 100 participants of the 2020 Artsakh war and their families, aimed at enhancing their competitiveness in the labor market and ensuring stable employment.
