Video: 29-Year-Old Woman Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Yerevan

Authorities have revealed that a 29-year-old woman acquired drugs from a 37-year-old man. The man has been arrested, subsequently detained, and transferred to a correctional facility.

The police detained a 29-year-old woman residing in the Nor-Aresh neighborhood of Yerevan for acquiring and trafficking various types of drugs. The information was reported by the police press service.

According to the statement, the woman was discovered on November 10 in a car driven by a young man of an Opel brand. Both were taken to the central police station. A substance resembling methamphetamine was found in the vehicle, which the driver claimed belonged to the 29-year-old passenger. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.

It was later determined that the 29-year-old woman had obtained the drugs from a 37-year-old man. He was located and taken into custody by the police on November 13. Law enforcement officials searched his Mercedes, uncovering substances resembling marijuana and methamphetamine. The 37-year-old man has been arrested, subsequently detained, and transferred to a correctional facility. The investigation is ongoing.
