Man Arrested After Committing Over 100 Thefts

On November 18, criminal investigators from the Malatya police department apprehended a 43-year-old resident of Spitak, suspected of theft, on Rustaveli Street. He provided a confession, admitting that he had stolen money from a store's cash register on Kurginyan Street in Yerevan back in September.

However, that was not all. The police reported that during the verification of his personal details, they discovered that the apprehended man had been wanted by the Central police department since September 6 on charges of theft. During the gathering of evidence, it was also revealed that he had committed six thefts of personal property in the Malatia-Sebastia community, five of which are currently under investigation. Additionally, it has been confirmed that he successfully carried out over a hundred thefts in other administrative districts of the capital and in various regions of the republic.

The 43-year-old man has been presented to the initiator of the search and has been arrested. The circumstances are being investigated.
