Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Incident Reported in Yerevan, One Resident Dies
On November 22, at 05:36 AM, the Crisis Management National Center received a call reporting a gas odor in one of the apartments at number 12 Mayis 9 Street in Yerevan.
A fire and rescue team from the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene. It was determined that there was a carbon monoxide leak from the gas boiler in the kitchen of one of the apartments.
Before the rescuers arrived, A. K. (born 2009) was hospitalized at the Muratsan Medical Center, where doctors assessed her condition as extremely severe. Emergency personnel confirmed the death of A. K. (born 1969).
The rescuers assisted T. K. (born 2003) and K. H. (born 1970) in reaching the ambulance. Both were hospitalized at Armenia Medical Center, where doctors assessed their condition as satisfactory.
