Chess: Armenia Defeats Serbia

In the penultimate round of the men's and women's European Team Championships taking place in Slovenia, the men's team of Armenia secured a decisive victory over Serbia with a score of 3.5-0.5.

Hayk Martirosyan, Robert Hovhannisyan, and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan all finished their matches with victories. Gabriel Sargsyan ended his encounter in a draw.

This win allows our team to accumulate 12 points, positioning them among the leaders.

The Armenian women's team drew 2-2 with Lithuania. The only victory was claimed by Elina Danielyan. Lilit Mkrtchyan and Siranush Ghukasyan ended their matches in draws, while Anna Sargsyan suffered a defeat.
