Boxer Aram Fanyan Wins IBO International Champion Title

Aram Fanyan, a boxer residing in Ukraine, has conquered the IBO international champion title, earning his second championship belt, reports AnalitikaUA.net.

Fanyan, who holds the WBO Oriental title in the first welterweight division (22-1, 4 knockouts), achieved victory during a boxing event held in Germany. He defeated German opponent Timo Schwarzkopf (20-5, 12 knockouts) by unanimous decision, with scores of 95-93, 96-93, and 97-92.

Fanyan's opponent was knocked down in the second round, while the Armenian boxer, who resides in Ukraine, was knocked down in the eighth round. The match took place for the vacant IBO version of the international champion title.

This was Fanyan's first overseas fight. The website noted that his previous match took place in Lviv, where he successfully defended his title against Uzbek fighter Muhammadsolim Sotvoldiev.
