Balcony Collapses in Tavush Province: 8 Hospitalized, 3-Year-Old Girl Dies

A tragic incident occurred in Tavush Province today, November 21. At around 1:30 PM, the Emergency Situations Ministry's 911 crisis management center received a call reporting a collapse at one of the houses on 5th Street in the "Victory" neighborhood of Noyemberyan, resulting in injuries.

According to Shamshyan.com, eight individuals with varying degrees of injuries were transported to the "Noyemberyan" medical center. Among them, a 3-year-old girl named Angelina passed away while en route.

Currently, officers from the Noyemberyan police department are on the scene, and an investigator from the investigative department is also working there. According to sources, the deceased and the injured are children who were playing on the balcony of the two-story house on the aforementioned street when it collapsed.

The building in question was constructed during the Soviet era and had been used as a dormitory. A significant number of the injured are children. The police are working to clarify the circumstances of the incident, as well as to identify the deceased and the injured.
