Russia-France Dialogue Essential for Establishing a Stable Peace Between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Says French Foreign Minister

France and Russia can work systematically together with the aim of restoring negotiations regarding the nuclear deal with Iran. This was stated by French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in an interview with Le Monde.

“Dialogue is essential, especially in times of crisis,” he said. Le Drian also emphasized the necessity of joint efforts with Russia to “lay the foundations for stable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”

“On the issue of Afghanistan, we agree on the need to avoid a new outbreak of terrorism,” added the French minister.
