Shots Heard in Tavush's Border Village of Movses

On November 16, Azerbaijani forces launched a large-scale provocation in the Sisian area, while shots were also heard in the border village of Movses in the Tavush region. Administrative head Artak Papyan informed "Factinfo" that gunfire was heard after midnight.

"Nothing happened last night; it was the nights before that were active, but last night there was no gunfire. The first night it started after 2:30 AM and lasted a while with sporadic shooting, but it was in the inter-deployment area. Last night, it lasted maybe ten minutes, and today it's peaceful," he stated.

Residents of the border village in Tavush did not appear troubled. "There was no panic. It was just two nights. Many probably didn't hear it; we are going about our usual routine, in a state of watchfulness," one resident remarked.

It is noteworthy that according to the Armenian Ministry of Defense, late on November 17, Azerbaijani military units opened sporadic fire in certain directions along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border in Tavush. As a result of response actions, the enemy's fire was silenced.
