It's Time to Accept My Proposal to Stop Military Aid to Azerbaijan, Bob Menendez
Bob Menendez, the chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, has expressed concern over reports of the deaths and captivity of Armenian servicemen following Azerbaijan's attack on the eastern border of Armenia on November 16.
According to Armenpress, Menendez's statement was shared on the Twitter page of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He emphasized that the military assistance provided by the U.S. to Azerbaijan facilitates horrific actions directed against ethnic Armenians.
“It’s time to accept my proposed amendment to stop that assistance,” Menendez stated.
Senator Bob Menendez had previously introduced two resolutions in the U.S. Congress calling for a halt to the sale of arms to Turkey and Azerbaijan.
