Body of a Man Found in ZIL Truck Near Sand Quarry in Gegharkunik Region

On November 17, a tragic incident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 14:30, an unknown citizen called the Martuni division of the police and reported that there was a body in the cabin of a ZIL truck near the sand quarry of the village of Dzoragyugh.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police and investigators found the ZIL truck near the sand quarry of the company "Armen Kaloyan" in the mentioned village, in the cabin of which, in a semi-reclined position, they discovered the body of a 49-year-old resident of the Gegharkunik region named Gevorg N.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic expert, no signs of violence were found on the body upon external examination. Senior investigator A. Hovhannisyan is preparing materials regarding the incident. A forensic examination of the body has been ordered.

The deceased had loaded sand from the aforementioned company into his vehicle, and it is presumed that he died suddenly while leaving the quarry on the road.
