We Have Sufficient Blood Supplies for All Cases: Anahit Avanesyan
Our blood supplies are strictly accounted for throughout the republic, and we have sufficient blood reserves for all cases. However, we also occasionally make announcements encouraging our citizens to come forward and donate. This was stated today, on November 17, during a conversation with reporters in the National Assembly by Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan.
“Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, we have a decline in donations, which also serves as another reminder that citizens who meet the criteria are encouraged to come forward and donate blood. However, we do not have any issues with blood supplies; they are well stocked and are being regularly replenished,” she said.
