Three Citizens Detained from Mashtots Avenue

Due to extensive operational measures, officers from the Criminal Investigative Division of the Yerevan Police received information regarding illegal weapons and ammunition. As a result of verified data, on November 16, criminal investigators and special forces of the police discovered and apprehended three men, aged 35, 37, and 39, all residents of Yerevan, on Mashtots Avenue in the capital.

During a search, a "Makarov" pistol with six cartridges was found on one of them. The 37-year-old man, from whom the illegal weapon and ammunition were seized, has been arrested. The Toyota vehicle has been taken to the department's secured area. An investigation has been initiated, and the circumstances are being clarified.
