Military Has Weapons and Combat Readiness, but Orders Come from Above to Abandon Everything and Leave Positions: Soldier to Hovhikyan
This is called a CREEPING WAR, where the enemy systematically organizes small local battles and gradually advances. In May 2021, the enemy managed to advance 2 km into the area of Lake Sevan in the Syunik region. The Armenian army received an order to retreat, and Nikol Pashinyan declared that he would not fight for that territory. This was reported by journalist Nairi Hovhikyan on his Facebook page.
“In fact, receiving internal consent from the Armenian government, the Azerbaijani authority continued the creeping war and advanced further in November 2021. This time, the enemy not only launched aggression toward Ishkhanasar but also moved upwards towards the positions near Jermuk, knowing very well that the Pashinyan regime would forbid Armenian soldiers from firing and defending the sovereign territory of Armenia.
Yesterday, during the hottest moments of military operations, I encountered a 60-year-old man who couldn't hide his tears. He said, 'My son is serving, but he is forbidden to fire at the Azerbaijani who is attacking him.' Another soldier called in the evening, saying, 'I am a contract soldier, and I can no longer endure this humiliation.' The army has weapons and combat readiness, but orders come from above to leave everything behind and withdraw from positions.
What else can this be called, if not the execution of secret agreements with the enemy at the cost of the lives of Armenian soldiers? Bit by bit, Azerbaijan is advancing, while the Pashinyan regime blames everyone—the opposition, the Armenian soldier, the Russians, the Americans, everyone...
The military operation has ceased, there is relative calm, Armenians have also calmed down, but where is the enemy? According to representatives of the authority, the enemy has entered more than 2 km into the sovereign territory of Armenia. They will remain there, and that is the enemy's goal; this is the principle of CREEPING WAR.
In weeks, they will initiate another local clash, advance another few kilometers, and so on, until they reach the desired lines on their map. At that point, the Pashinyan regime will sign a border demarcation document, completely burying the Armenian state.
We will not allow the future of our children to be buried. If something needs to be buried, then as a nation, we must bury the Pashinyan regime in the grave it has dug for itself,” he wrote.
