Enemy Suffers Up to 70 Casualties, Armenian Side Reports 24 Missing, 13 Captured, 1 Dead
As of November 17 at 10:00 AM, the situation along the eastern border of Armenia, where Azerbaijani armed forces carried out a large-scale attack on Armenian positions the previous day, is relatively stable with the ceasefire agreement mostly holding.
As a result of the military operations on November 16, the enemy has suffered up to 70 military casualties, including killed and wounded personnel, as well as significant losses in military equipment, specifically 4 armored personnel carriers (БТР), 1 Sandcat armored vehicle, and 5 motor vehicles (Kamaz, Ural, UAZ).
The Armenian side reports 1 soldier killed and 13 captured. Additionally, communication has been lost with another 24 servicemen during the combat operations, and their fate is currently unknown. Intensive efforts are underway to locate these servicemen.
The enemy has taken control of two combat outposts. Negotiations, facilitated by the Russian side, are ongoing to resolve the situation and to secure the return of the captured Armenian servicemen.
The Ministry of Defense will issue a relevant statement as new information becomes available.
