Azerbaijan Will Not Be Alone in Case of New Provocations from Armenia: Cavusoglu

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu participated in a joint press conference after a meeting with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani. During this time, Çavuşoğlu responded to a question from an Azerbaijani journalist regarding the "Armenia-Azerbaijan border tensions." This was reported by Ermenihaber.am.

Çavuşoğlu attempted to present Ankara and Baku as proponents of peace and stability in the region. While cloaking Turkey and Azerbaijan in a façade of peacefulness, Çavuşoğlu accused Armenia of provoking Azerbaijan’s borders.

Labeling Armenia's defensive actions as provocations, Çavuşoğlu warned that if Armenia continues in the same manner, it will face new losses. According to Çavuşoğlu, Turkey and Azerbaijan are acting from positions of concern for regional relations, while Armenia has allegedly adopted an opposing stance.

He reaffirmed Turkey's support for Azerbaijan, emphasizing that just as “Azerbaijani brothers” have never left Turks alone, Turkey will never leave Azerbaijan alone.
