Adam Schiff: The US Must Restrain Azerbaijan's Ongoing Aggression

Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Adam Schiff, has condemned Azerbaijan's actions against Armenia. He made this statement on his Facebook page.

“I am deeply concerned by today’s reports that Azerbaijani armed forces have attacked Armenian soldiers along the border. There are also reports of casualties and the unlawful capture of more than a dozen Armenian soldiers. This unprovoked attack is a direct violation of the ceasefire agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and serves as a stark reminder that the United States must do everything possible to restrain Azerbaijan's ongoing aggression,” Schiff stated.

He called on the US State Department to take immediate action, utilizing all diplomatic channels and possible levers to prevent another mass humanitarian disaster and to demonstrate America’s unwavering support for the Armenian people and their sovereignty.
