222 Soldiers Missing Due to War, 40 Held as Prisoners, Minister Reports
According to the data from the Investigative Committee of Armenia for October, the number of soldiers and civilians killed during the 44-day war amounts to 3,788 individuals, including 3,712 soldiers and 76 civilians, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan stated in the National Assembly.
"222 soldiers and 21 civilians are considered missing. The total number of military captives and civilian individuals held by Azerbaijan is 40, including 37 soldiers and 3 civilians," Mkrtchyan added.
The minister noted that during this period, Azerbaijan has handed over 114 soldiers and civilians to the Republic of Armenia. He also mentioned that 7,888 individuals have sustained injuries and received inpatient treatment, while disability has been established for 1,464 individuals.
